SourceN is looking for an experienced Java Developer to join our team; someone who is passionate, has an entrepreneurial spirit and has an in-depth knowledge about the intricacies of Web 2.0 application design.

Desired Profile of an Ideal candidate:

• Design, develop and maintain high-end, interactive Web-sites.
• Works as a lead developer with business and technology teams to support all phases of development life cycle.
• Take on projects independently and ensure its success.
• Development of technical specifications for implementing Web site features.
• Research and apply best practices for managing on-line content and Web development.
• Responds to questions/queries from businesses and technology staff on day-to-day operations.
• Manage production support related issues, co-ordination of fixes and liaison with the QA and Support teams

Skill Sets Required:

Technical skills:

• Hands on experience in JHTML, Java (J2EE) and XML  web programming,scripting, and development.
• Frameworks such as Hibernate, Struts and Spring,  Enterprise Content Management,  JIVE Clearspace,  Freemarker or other Java-based HTML templating tool is highly desired.
• Web-scripting language,  LAMP-technologies  a plus.

Personal skills:

• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to quickly learn new concepts and apply them.
• Organize workload for effective implementation.
• Ability to adapt as the external environment and organization evolves.
